Air Handling in a Malaysian Hospital been coated with Aegis Microbe Shield to prevent/reduce microbial activity in the treated wards. 

It is recognized that microorganisms found in buildings affect building operations, staff efficiencies and health, and healthcare outcomes.  The costs of this in human morbidity and mortality and operating costs are enormous whether considering normal operations or conditions where hospital acquired infections occur.  Many of these organisms are found and transported in out-of-sight and out-of-mind places in the infrastructure of the hospital during construction, at commissioning, and during occupation and use.
